Vista Compatible Hybrid Hard Drive By Samsung

Samsung on May 24th is about to unveil a hybrid hard drive that will be composed of a flash and a standard hard disk that’s going to reduce boot times of laptops and PC's.

The new hard drives will be reintroduced by Microsoft at the annual Windows Hardware Engineering Conference. The drives as well as the software should be available during the time when Vista is available, since the drives have been created for use with the new OS.

I wish they started making these drives with the current OS, however do expect the boot times to be really, really fast. Great program response, faster program launch times, plus this would be ideal if used as a living room Media Center machines.
