Miners trapped inside a mine given iPods

Two gold miners trapped in Tasmania, Australia are geared with some basic and high tech necessity like food, water, and ipods.

These men have been trapped in a small cage more than half a mile underground since April 25, when a small earthquake triggered a cave in that killed another miner.

Rescuers have been using explosives to blast their way in to rescue these men, but due to fear of another cave in had to stop abruptly.

The iPods, which were passed along with food, water, and notes were passed through a tube and are meant for the miners to kill time till they get rescued. Apart from food, water, and iPods a representative believes toothpastes and deodorants were also passed.
