Motorola has a new idea

A new patent application by Motorola may be shocking to some users. It seems Motorola is exploring other ways of getting your attention, because putting your wireless device on vibrate isn't working well enough.

According to the application, the technology is an apparatus with a wireless communication device, a power source, and two conductors, which are attached to "an epidermal area of a body" whereby an electrical current is generated between the two conductors as directed by the wireless device. In other words, when you receive a call, voicemail, or text message it will shock you. That may be a motivator to limit those wireless minutes, huh?
