Defrag your system with this tool

Lifehacker reports, as from one of the reader who writes:
  • The defrag tool that comes with Windows does a decent job. Not a good job, but a decent job. I’m looking for a tool that will not only defrag my hard drive, but also gather the free space at the end of the drive. Since I use VMware a lot, I tend to have some very large files on my hard drive. If the tool just defrags the drive, there often isn’t enough room to defrag a 650 meg (or more) file. But if the tool were to gather the free space together at the end of the drive, then my large files would have a place to go.
  • So, does anyone out there know of a good defrag tool that will not only defrag my NTFS hard drive, but also gather all the free space at the end of the drive? Did I mention it would be really great if it was freeware/open source (I’m cheap!)?

Well Defrag it does help a system run much smoother, when a particular file is accessed. Personally, I defrag my system, probably twice every month. I have an automatic schedule set to run twice a month. This keeps my computer running smoother especially since I have a lot of files on my PC.
